Learning & Development
Don’t just work our way – learn and develop our way, too.
We’re passionate about developing our people to be the best they can be. In fact, we have some of the most talented technologists in the country so it’s vital we keep up our game.
That’s why our Learning and Development team offers tonnes of opportunities for tech and non-tech people to learn new and exciting things to develop you in your role - and beyond.
Ever fancied learning to speak Italian? Or want a personal coach or free access to the most in demand tech-skills? It’s all part of the package here at Sky Betting and Gaming.
There are over 40 internally led training courses run by our own experts to choose from, as well as plenty of external opportunities too. Here’s what we’ve offered our colleagues this year:
- Management training for over 300 managers
- Tech Ninja fund for over 400 of our technology team
- Pluralsight licenses
- Safari Books licenses
- 100s of Tech Upskilling options
- 10% L&D time every week
- Over 70 colleagues gained recognised Management accreditations
- Access to internal coaching and mentoring schemes
- 2 free books from the Sky Bet reading list for all new starters
It all means we’ve spent over a million pounds on just 1,200 colleagues in 2017/18 alone.
And on top of all of that, if you’re interested in something we haven’t delivered in the past, just ask us - we’re always ready to explore what’s out there to help others learn.
"We have a really good atmosphere in the contact centre within Sky Betting & Gaming. We make it a fun environment for all the advisors and all the customer experience leaders."
